The 24" deep pull out shelf is designed for non rack mounted equipment that must be extended from the 4 Post Rack for service. The maximum total width of equipment placed on the shelf is 16.5".

Mounting rail depth is adjustable from 20" to 27". The shelf requires 1U of vertical rack space. The shelf will extend the full 24" (100%)

Maximum load is 75 lbs.

The keyboard is stored perpendicular to the front of the 4 post rack. Pulling the shelf out of the rack, the keyboard is rotated 90 degrees. A fold out mouse pad to the right of the keyboard is included.

Vertical Power Strips

12 outlet power strips mount to the horizontal side struts of the 4 post open rack The power strips are typically mounted at the rear. A power strip can be mounted on both sides thus providing 24 outlets per 4 post rack.

The standard power strip is are rated at 15amps. Higher capacity power strips are available.

The exhaust fan is a 10" dia Rotron, ball bearing, pancake type unit which is designed for quite, long term operation.

The fan may be required when side panels and doors or filler panels are added to the 4 post rack. The fan is typically mounted in the top panel (required) and exhausts air out of the unit.
